FFA Membership
New York is a 100% Affiliate State. All students enrolled in agricultural education receive full access to FFA leadership and career development opportunities as part of this membership system. In order to register for state run activities, students must be fully added to the FFA roster and have a waiver on file through AET.
WHAT IS PROGRAM AFFILIATION
Program affiliation allows students who are enrolled in a secondary agricultural education program (grades 6-12, as defined by the New York and National FFA Constitutions) or graduates who have met the local, state and national requirements to be eligible for the benefits and opportunities of FFA as part of the total program delivery. Under program affiliation, all students are FFA members. Instead of paying membership dues for each member, chapters pay an affiliation fee for all students enrolled in their agricultural education program.
ALL chapters must complete membership and submit payment by March 1, 2025 to remain in good standing.

PLEASE NOTE - As approved by National FFA at the 2022 National FFA Convention, 6th Graders are now eligible for National membership and will be submitted via AET. No separate roster is required for 6th grade members.
